We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of Mr Galloway, who has been awarded Silver UK Parliament Teacher Ambassador Status by the UK Parliament Education.
The UK Parliament Teacher Ambassador Programme is a prestigious national professional development programme that equips teachers with a deeper understanding of how Parliament and democracy work, enabling them to bring political literacy and active citizenship into the classroom.
Following his participation in the programme, Mr Galloway has worked extensively to promote democratic engagement across Anthony Gell School, delivering sessions to students in different year groups and embedding learning about democracy through activities linked to UK Parliament Week. His efforts have helped students develop a greater understanding of how decisions are made in the UK, the role of Parliament, and the importance of becoming informed and active citizens
In recognition of this work, Mr Galloway has been awarded Silver Teacher Ambassador Status, a significant accreditation that acknowledges his commitment to political education and student engagement.
