We will deliver our parents’ evenings using both face-to-face meetings here in school and online meetings using video software functionality.

Parents’ Evening format:
Face to face (In school) parent evenings take place in our main school hall between 4:00pm and 6:30pm.
Virtual (Online) parent evenings take place between 4:00pm and 6:30pm.
If you are a new Year 7 parent, a link to Schoolcloud and information on how to log in will be sent to you closer to the first parents’ evening.
Using Schoolcloud to access parents’ evening bookings and video connections.
SchoolCloud is available to use through all main device types including tablets, laptops, PCs and phones using Android and iOS operating systems.
In order to make video calls you need to have as a minimum:
- a device with a microphone and speaker/headphones
- a compatible up-to-date web browser:
iPhone/iPad: Safari, Chrome
Android: Chrome, Firefox or the Samsung Browser
Windows: Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge (Chromium – download here)
Mac: Safari, Chrome or Firefox
Linux: Chrome or Firefox
We also recommend:
- Using your smartphone for video appointments. If you don’t have a smartphone with a front-facing camera, use a laptop or computer with a webcam.
- Using a headset (or earphones with a microphone) to reduce echo.

Curriculum Information Evenings
At Anthony Gell School, we offer parents the opportunity to attend curriculum information evenings. These give parents more information about what their child will be studying throughout the year.
