The Gell Together Fund has been established from fundraising, initially undertaken in 2020-2021.

The school is now able to provide additional financial support for families who apply through this fund.

Parents, family members and the local community are able to donate to this fund on ParentPay or by emailing finance@anthonygell.co.uk.

How to apply

Anyone is eligible for support, as circumstances have changed for some of our Gell families since COVID-19.  We recognise that some families may need access to specific help and support that other organisations might not be able to provide.

The scheme is considered on a case by case basis, and is dependant on the request and funds available.

Please click below to download and fill in the application form to make a request for the funding from the Gell Together Fund. Please be clear about your circumstances and what assistance you require – this will be treated with the strictest confidence.

Once completed, this application should be emailed to enquiries@anthonygell.co.uk or a copy can be left at the school reception for the attention of Heather Harper, PA to the Headteacher.

 Further Support Available

If you are in need of additional support, please do not delay applying for Government help. If you have a mortgage or a landlord, speak to them and explain your situation to see how they might be able to support you.  If you have debts, speak to your bank and other lenders to see whether there is help available – as well as your utility providers (Gas, Electricity, Water etc).

Citizens Advice has a ‘help to claim’ service which goes through the process of applying for Universal Credit, from eligibility to completing the forms. It is free, independent and impartial advice.

Derbyshire County Council Community Response offer support if you are self isolating, struggling to meet your basic needs, pregnant, have underlying health conditions, or aged over 70 years old. They can help with shopping, fetching prescriptions or finding someone to talk with.
