Support and help

There are several ways that you can seek support whilst at home during this difficult time, for adults and children.  If you are concerned about the safety of a child, call Derbyshire on 01629 533190 or in an emergency dial 999.

 All Derbyshire residents , both students and parents and carers can now access support for mental health issues through a new dedicated website and helpline. This has been set up as a result of COVID-19.

THere is also a service called VITA which is a mental health service that has expanded to help more adults in the Derbyshire area with help for depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions. 

There is a contact number and email and it is a self referral system. If there are any parents that are struggling at the moment they can contact them.  You can find their leaflet here

May 18th - 24th is national mental health awareness week. An organisation called Kooth has lots of ways they can help you in this difficult time.
