Tuesday 27th of January 2009 06:41:00 AMOnce a year from 1 November to 31 january, Amnesty International asks supporters to send cards with messages of support to people all around the world who have suffered human rights abuses. The cards help to bring attention to situations where people are not being treated properly and can help to keep them safe. They also give people hope and let them know that they are not alone.
Presentation of certificates
Thursday 22nd of January 2009 08:30:00 AMAnthony Gell School hall was packed as parents and staff gathered for the annual presentation of certificates to GCSE and A Level students.
Christmas Cracker
Friday 28th of November 2008 07:56:00 AMOn Tues and Wed 16 and 17 December we enjoyed an evening of music, dance and drama including our new jazz orchestra, a musical from the A level drama group, International Christmas crackers from the GCSE Drama Group, Roald Dahl from Y7/8 Drama Club and the Wizard of Oz from Y9 and 10 – with a special group of cheerleaders to cheer them on and cheer us up!
Asian Arts Day
Tuesday 14th of October 2008 07:45:00 AMYear 7 students had another opportunity to show their creativity when their normal timetable was abandoned and replaced with a whole day of Asian Arts activities.
